Entertaining ourselves at home

Now that the kids are back in school they haven't had as much time to play around the house. When I picked everyone up from school today, we came home and pulled out this fun puzzle Mae got for her birthday. Thankfully she had "Bubby" to help her with it. Much to my surprise they worked it on it pretty well together.

Mae also has a new favorite book - Purplelicious! She loves telling us that the girl in the book is "sad" because she likes pink and all of her friends like black. It is so cute how she remembers this story so well even after only reading it one time. It is probably because she loves PINK like the girl in the book!!!

And finally, here is Mae being a big girl and brushing her teeth. She insists on doing it herself before she will let us brush them. Our fun nightly challenges.
