Mae learned how to crawl out of her bed!

Well, Mae learned how to crawl out of her baby bed last night! Something little Sanders never even it attempted. He is definitely the first child and the rule follower. Well, not Mae! It was kind of funny how she did it. She woke up in the middle of the night last night trying to make her way into our bed as she does every now and then. We went in there a few times trying to calm her down but she didn't want to give in. So, after 2 hours of negotiating with her - we finally closed her door and our door and let her cry it out. She was not a happy camper but we had to stand our grand. No one sleeps when she is sleeping in our bed. Eventually she stopped crying and we all fell back asleep. When we woke up this morning Little Sanders ran into the den and yelled "Mae is awake" - which was weird b/c he wasn't in her room. I got up and found her sitting on the stairs going up to Little Sanders room. It was crazy!!! I couldn't believe she didn't try to come into our room but I'm thinking she was mad at us for not letting her sleep in our room. She is definitely a hard headed child! I know this is only the beginning.

So, I had her reenact how she climbed out of the bed to make sure she wasn't going to kill herself and believe it or not she did it quickly and gracefully. We are in trouble!! I need to get busy on her big girl room so we can move her upstairs - even though I'm sure she'll be jumping out of that bed just as easily.
