Charleston Trip

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Charleston to visit Mary Catherine. We had a fun "girls" weekend! We did what girls do best - shop and eat!! Both the shopping and restaurants are phenomenal in Charleston. I love that city. I'll be sad when Mary Catherine moves.

Here are a few highlights from the trip . . .

my "mocktail" strawberry mojito. It just about killed me not to get a real one!
a picture outside the rooftop bar - it was about to rain which is why our hair is all blowing in different directions

the sisters (minus Elise) - we wish she would have been there!

outside "SNOB" where we ate one night. It had amazing "Charleston" food

we sucked Stephen in for a picture. He was brave!

We ate lunch at Poe's Tavern on Sullivan's Island. It is a huge hotspot and lots of fun!

Family get-together at the lake

What a fun weekend . . . Elise, Jordo, Wiley and MC came in town this weekend for Wiley's baptism. It was a fun-filled weekend starting with dinner at Wine Country on Saturday night, the baptism on Sunday morning with a brunch at mom's house afterwards, and then the finale at the lake on Sunday afternoon. After 2 years with no water in the lake, we were able to get out on the boat. It was great! We even got Sadie and Little Sanders out on the tube! I'm looking forward to spending many more hot summers days out on the lake!

Playing in the sprinklers

It is amazing how much fun kids can have playing in the sprinkler. If you don't have a swimming pool I guess it is the next best thing to stay cool in the summer!

Here are a few pictures . . . Not sure why I didn't get any of little Sanders running through the water. He had more fun than anyone. I'll have to catch him next time.

Mae was not too happy when Daddy sprayed her with the hose

she finally put her suit on and had fun!

Mae . . .

Here are a few pictures of a lazy Saturday afternoon. Little Sanders was taking a long nap which is why there aren't any pictures of him.

Mae, a little cranky after she got up from her nap

she cheered up finally!

Sanders' week at Sports Camp

Sanders had a great time at the Southern Trace sports camp all week. He played golf, tennis, crab soccer and all kind of fun activities. Everyday i picked him up he was sweaty and exhausted but all that can mean is he had fun! I'm sure he was relieved not to be running errands with me all day. Next week we have the First Baptist camp which I know he'll enjoy b/c all of his friends will be there.

Here a few pictures of him posing with his tennis racket for me. . .

Mae's Dance Program

Today, Mae had her little dance program to finish off her week at "Princess Dance Camp". She had a ball this week!! They made crafts, put on princess dresses and learned a few dance moves. She did much better in the program this year. Last year she just stood there and stared at the crowd and didn't move a muscle but this year she danced around a little bit. I know she loves to dance - I think she gets shy in front of a crowd! Here are a few pictures from the program. Ignore her messy hair. I had it all fixed that morning but her barrette fell out for the performance. Oh well!
