LSU vs. Alabama Game

We went down to our 1st game of the season for the LSU vs. Alabama game and boy was it a fun weekend! We went to Ruth Chris on Friday night with the Tuckers, Silmons, Flurry's, Nichols and Broussards and had a blast. Our reservation wasn't until 9:30pm so we had had quite a few drinks by the time we sat down for dinner. We saw quite a few old friends while we were waiting at the bar - Mark Morau, Kelly Patin to name a few! It was great to catch up with both of them.

We had a late night but still managed to get up Saturday morning and head to the Chimes for Bloody Mary's and some appetizers. Ramsey & Kevin, Melissa, Ann & Brian met us up there so I was so excited to see them! After a few drinks we headed out to tailgate and BEAUTIFUL weather. It was the most crowded I've seen the campus in a long time. We stopped by the "Creep" tailgate, Judson's and then finally Preston's tailgate. Everyone you can think of was at the game! It was fun seeing so many old faces.

The game was definitely the most exciting part of the weekend. I can't believe we pulled out a win over Alabama but we did it. I think everyone needs to back off of Les Miles now. We are 8 and 1 which is pretty impressive! Lance and Holly were pretty good sports about the game even though I know they were disappointed with their team.

We made it back Sunday safe and sound and Taylor survived watching the kids. They were happy to see us!

Time to rest up and get ready for another weekend in Baton Rouge but with the kids this time. I think they are going to have a blast. It will definitely be more low key than this past weekend was - thank goodness!
