Gator Park and dinner at Smash Burger

I took the kids to the Gator Park this afternoon for a fun family activity - and to help kill some time before bedtime. We didn't get there until 5:15pm and they closed at 6pm but it ended up being the perfect amount of time to see all of the animals. Mae was so excited to go but was a little hesitant when she got there and saw all the big animals. Once she got to the deer though she was okay. She kept saying "they like Mae Mae". The kids fed all the animals including the deer, the horses, goats, kangaroos etc. Mae DID NOT like the hairy cows. They let out a "moo" and you must have thought she saw a ghost. She repeated numerous times the rest of the night that "Mae Mae does not like the cow". She loved the baby horse though! We will definitely have to make a trip back there again soon.

We went to dinner at the new Smash Burger. It was great! They had a good kids' menu and you could order at the counter - which is a plus when you have kids. Sanders got the cheeseburger and devoured it and Mae did pretty well with her hot dog. They both got cookies from Mrs. Fields for eating such a good dinner!
