Playdate and "Teddy"

Today Sanders had John Paul Zaffater over a for a little playdate. They are in the same class so I thought it would be fun him to come home with us. They had fun playing with Sanders' cars and watching Scooby Doo. They get along really well.

Sanders also got to bring home "Teddy" today - the class teddy bear that the kids get to take turns bringing home for a few days. Sanders told me the girls have a different teddy bear than the boys. We are supposed to write a little something after our time with Teddy on what he got to do with us and include pictures for the album. So far he got to join in the playdate, read a story at bedtime, play cars and sleep with Sanders. It is such a cute idea - Sanders really took it seriously.

The book Sanders read to the kids tonight was a book Mrs. Caraway sent home with Sanders today. It is so cute - it is called "Socrates" and is about a dog that no one notices until he gets glasses. It was so thoughtful of her to let him take that book home to read since he just started wearing his glasses. He really liked the book.
