She volunteered the babysit the kids while Sanders and I had a "date night" last night. We had a gift certificate to Chianti that we wanted to use plus we hadn't spent much time together since he was out of town this past weekend. The kids were so excited MC was coming to play with them. They could have cared less we were leaving them! I texted Mary Catherine about half way through dinner to see how the kids were doing and Mae was pulling her "crawling out of bed act" on her. I told her to threaten her with the "locking the door" if she did not stay in bed. When we got home Mary Catherine said she had to finally lock the door b/c she refused to stay in bed but she finally got quiet and fell asleep. Right before we went to bed I went in and checked on her and sure enough she had fallen asleep on the floor again. I would have thought she'd have learned her lesson the first time. She is one tough little cookie!
