Weekend at Lake Claiborne

We had a fun weekend at Lake Claiborne with the Kendrick's and the Gosslee's. We got there Friday night had a yummy Mexican dinner. Sanders cooked his quesadillas and Sarah Katherine made nachos for the kids - oh and margaritas for the adults. The next morning the Gosslee's got there around 11am and we went out in the boat with everyone. We found a nice quiet little cove and got out and swam with the kids. They all had a blast! When Mae was finally exhausted and hours past her naptime we went back to the house and let the kids nap. Both our kids napped which was GREAT! They needed it after staying up late the night before. SK, Kelly and I layed out in the sun while the boys played horseshoes. When everyone woke up we made a batch of ritas and went back out in the boat. We swam for a couple of hours and finally headed back to the house to feed the kids and get them bathed and to bed. They were all exhausted. David cooked some delicious steaks and chicken and Sanders made his famous twice baked potatoes and Kelly made a great salad. It was a delicious dinner and a fun night. Today, we woke up early with the kids and packed up and headed back to town so we could get some things done around the house. It was a fun weekend!!!
